Kudos to Zoren Patrick Mendiola for bagging the Rookie of the Year plum at the table tennis championships of the University Athletics Association of the Philippines (UAAP) 2008 season.
The 17 year old college freshman is a product of the table tennis development program of the Metro Davao Table Tennis Association and the Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (TATAP Region XI).
He now plays for the tablenet champion University of Sto Tomas in Manila.
