Dutch government fascist?

Oh, come on Ka Bel.

I know the Netherlands to be one of the most democratic, one of the most liberal in the world that is why communist leaders prefer to hide there than in the mountains of Samar or Quezon.

Just because one of them got arrested, the Dutch government is now labeled “fascist!”

Hmm … I disagree.

(The Netherlands ranked 3rd in the world democratic index; the US 17th, and the Philippines 63rd. North Korea where Filipino communists sought links in the past is at the bottom at 167th.)

Hahahahahahaha!!! I just love the kneejerk responses these old revolutionary farts have to anything that opposes their cause. After a while it all sounds the same, because their response never changes: fascistimperialistanticommunistcolonialpettybourgeoisdictatorreactionary!

Besides, these guys are hypocrites. Put them in charge, and you’ll see the horrors they inflict on their captive village, writ large on the country.

Put it this way. It is just as much the right of beareaved widows like Joy and Inca to seek justice for the cold-blooded murder of their husbands who left the national democratic movement, as it is the right of Edith Burgos to seek the truth about her missing son. The widows are seeking justice under the jurisdiction of the Dutch government because they did not see how they could pursue this under domestic rule.

Joy, with whom I am in regular contact, asks for three things. One, due process for JMS, she does not wish the injustice and crime committed on her husband happen to JMS. Two, she filed her petition because she wants to know the truth, given that the NPA admitted to the killing of Rolly Kintanar. Three, justice be meted out for both Rolly and JMS. At the level of the NPAs who admitted to the killings, we call this the extrajudicial killings from the ranks of the Left. – Etta

  4. Etta Pargas-Rosales Says:

Bereaved widows, correction. There is something that must be clarified. The case is anchored on the petition filed by both widows before the Dutch Court for the murder of their husbands. I don’t know that they have connected this to the Leyte case which the government used against Satur, et. al. When Romy Capulong says that the case does not hold water because this has been dismissed by the Supreme Court, he was referring to the Leyte charges of mass murder. I don’t think the Court’s ruling touched on the murder cases admitted by the NPAs against Kintanar and Tabara. Whatever political beliefs we have, the issue of human rights is universal. The right of the widows to seek justics for their husbands must be respected, no matter from what side of the political and ideological fence we view the problem. – Citizen Etta

Judging by historical accounts, it seems that any government that the Communists dislike are automatically considered fascist. Those guys are old news!

  6. Peter Says:

Salamat for the comments Mick, Doy, Etta and Blogie.

  7. reyian Says:

They are just bitter. Because Sison’s assets will be frozen by the Dutch government and there will be no money for NPA operations in the Philippines. After all, they should be thankful to the Dutch government because it sheltered Sison for so many years or else their uprising would have ended a long time ago.
